This top tier construction practice is growing its front-end and back-end teams at the moment and have a space for a junior to intermediate level construction litigation lawyer to work one-on-one with a Senior Associate, and reporting into two excellent partners.

They have one of the country's largest back-end construction practices, including large scale leaky building work, insurance matters and general construction disputes, acting for claimants and defendants.

Particular areas of expertise are:

contractual disputes,
construction and engineering issues,
negligence,
Fair Trading Act claims and;
insurance coverage disputes.

The team are experts in risk management and dispute prevention, but are active in mediation and arbitration, and the various courts and tribunals where necessary. The breadth of work allows you to get involved in some major disputes but also has enough smaller matters for you to take responsibility yourself.

You will likely already have a couple of years experience in related work and have an interest in specialising in construction. The team environment is positive and supportive and to thrive there, your outlook will mirror that.
